Mr. Testa’s lighting design experience is comprised of theatrical
lighting, special events and architectural lighting. As Principal of Testa
Lighting Design, he has collaborated with many top designers and
architects both nationally and internationally.
Rich's desire to create a cutting edge design firm lead to the
birth of Testa Lighting Design (TLD) in February of 2000. The company is
focused on creating exciting designs in conjunction with good client
relationships.
Preceding TLD, Rich worked for three years as a Senior Associate
at Available Light in Boston. He created designs for trade shows, special
events, theme architecture, office spaces, and museum exhibit
environments.
Rich earned an MFA in Lighting Design from Southern Methodist
University
and a BFA from Salem State College. He has guest lectured at the
University of Southern California, Wellesley College and for the Syracuse
Opera Company.
Rich holds a membership in the IES New England Section.
Currently, he is
on the membership committee of the IES.
